Time when I guest-blogged about Bulgarian Christmas traditions
Yes, sometimes I guest-blog. Nevertheless, I still write about traveling and different cultures. And even though it’s the very peak of the summer, I would like to share my old article about Bulgarian Christmas traditions.
With the Western version of Christmas more and more often resembles an egoistic festival of greed (how else you can call a festival, where expensive presents are becoming the most important part of the feast?), it’s nice to know that countries like Bulgaria can still offer something more traditional.
Many Bulgarian winter customs are full of Christmas symbolism, while others date back even to a distant pagan times. Nowadays many of those are mixed together, creating something really unique and worth experiencing.
So, if you are a winter person and waiting for the Christmas to come, welcome to read my article on Travelista: Longing for traditional Christmas? Then you should visit Bulgaria.
Xo xo xo!
